Am I Creative?

So-I"m taking this creativity class for my Masters. We study a lot about creativity, and we had to bring 3 items to show our class how creative we are. Many people brought scrapbooks, cooking utensils, paintbrushes.

These 3 objects had to describe our creativity as a person, teacher, and learner.

My 3 Items: *
As a person: A question game. I love asking questions, creating conversations, meeting new people. I love breaking the ice.

As a Learner: A book I just wrote while learning to write in my writing class. Yes. I wrote a picture book about Dave and I.

As a Teacher: Some dance CD's. My students and I love to dance, and I let them do it almost every day.

I brought these things but still felt like I was falling short of creativity.

I thought of my husband who is the most creative person I know: He creates amazing meals without a recipe, creates beautiful landscape, creates a garden, creates beautiful paintings and such. He has the creative gene if I ever saw it.

----So after leaving my class feeling depressed, I realized that I can create, just not in the conventional way of creating.

---I can create a peaceful home, where warmth, laughter, and cleanliness are there. Where people come to feel loved and safe.

---I can create a smile. I love making people happy and especially babies.

---I can create conversation.

----I can create friends (I love friends)

I also have been thinking about last weeks Sunday School Lesson: The parable of the talents. The Lord gave several men different talents. Some had many, some had few. Those that buried their talents lost what they had. But those who used their talents: their talents were multiplied.

I'm grateful for the talents God has given me, and I hope to obtain more. I want to be as creative a person as possible.

And just for fun, I'm posting this...because it is SO BEAUTIFUL!
